1957 Topps is a 407-card set released across five series.  With Bowman now out of the way, Topps reduced the size of their cards to what is now the "standard size" of 2 1/2" X 3 1/2". Rookie Cards in this set are Jim Bunning, Rocky Colavito, Don Drysdale, Whitey Herzog, Tony Kubek, Bill Mazeroski, Bobby Richardson, Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson.

Randomly inserted into packs were checklists. Each checklist had the complete list of cards from the current series on the front, with a preview of the next series on the back.  There was one checklist card inserted into each of the first four series.
In addition, half the cards have an advertisement for Bazooka gum on the back, with the other half an ad for Blony gum.

Rookie Cards in this set are Jim Bunning, Rocky Colavito, Don Drysdale, Whitey Herzog, Tony Kubek, Bill Mazeroski, Bobby Richardson, Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson.

Despite being released in five series, Series Four is actually the scarcest series.
