The 1960 Topps Baseball (ACC: R-414-6) set is one of the most colorful and distinctive vintage card issues. It contains 572 cards, issued in seven series, and is notable for its horizontal design, a departure from the traditional vertical layouts of most Topps sets.

Each card features:

A large, full-color portrait or posed photo of the player on one side.
A smaller black-and-white action shot on the other side.
A bright, colorful, bold background with the player’s name in large letters, along with team and position.

High Numbers (#507–572) are scarcer, making them more valuable and tougher to complete.

Cards are the standard 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” size and were the first standard size set to feature a horizontal layout.

Overall, the 1960 Topps set is loved by collectors for its eye-catching design, strong rookie class, and inclusion of legendary Hall of Famers.
