Description

The first, and only, Donruss Traded set is a 56-card set released exclusively as a factory set to Hobby stores. Unlike Topps Traded, Donruss Traded was never very popular with collectors since it included only traded players rather than rookies. The rookies, of course, had their own 56-card set: 1989 Donruss The Rookies.

A standard-sized rendition of the 1988 Stan Musial puzzle was included in every 1989 Donruss Traded set. The same mini-puzzle was also included in 1988 Donruss Baseball's Best and 1988 Donruss The Rookies sets. Why they included the '88 Musial instead of the current year's Warren Spahn puzzle may never be known.
