Description

1985 Donruss HOF Sluggers is an eight-"card" set. Each "card" is a 3 1/2" X 6 1/4" piece painted by Dick Perez and printed on the side of chewing gum boxes -- similar to the Bazooka issues of the 50s and 60s. These "cards" are usually sold as an in-tact box with the cards NOT cut-out.

In addition, cards were issued on both Super Bubble and Color Bubbles brands, meaning that there are two different "variations" of each player's card.

Distribution

One card printed on the side of specially-marked boxes of Super Bubble and Color Bubbles brand chewing gum.
