Description
2012 Bowman Sterling is a 50-card set, supplemented by a 50-card Prospects "insert," released the week of December 12, 2012. Each four-card pack will contain a minimum of three autographs.
Japan Edition
For the first time since 1994 Upper Deck, a baseball card set was released for a specific geographic region. The 2012 Bowman Sterling Japan Edition was distributed exclusively to the Asian market and contains special "Japan-Fractors." Every six-pack Japan Edition box will contain two Japan-Fractors. The design of the Japan-Fractors is similar to the Row 0 cards in 1998 Flair Showcase.
Each Japan-Fractor base card and Prospect insert will be serial-numbered to 25 copies. Each Japan-Fractor autograph will be numbered to only five copies.
In addition, every other Japan Edition case (1:16 boxes or 1:96 packs) will yield a Yu Darvish autograph. Also included are a number of dual Japanese player Autographed Refractors (serial-numbered to 100 copies each), and five different Ichiro Die-Cut Relics (each serial-numbered to five).

Six packs per box, four cards per pack (MSRP: $50). 12 boxes per case. Hobby only.
