1986 Fleer Sluggers vs. Pitchers
Description
1986 Fleer Sluggers vs. Pitchers is a 44-card boxed set that was distributed exclusively to various five-and-dime retailers -- primarily McCrory's. Also referred to as "Baseball's Best," the set features 22 hitters and 22 pitchers. Each boxed set contained an assortment of six team logo sticker cards -- the same that were inserted in all 1986 Fleer baseball products.
The set is notable for featuring the first MLB-licensed card of Will Clark, as well as a rookie year card of Jose Canseco.

Box Bottoms
Six cards were printed on the bottom of each display box. The same five player cards were on every box, with the six being one of three team logos: Mets, Dodgers, or Red Sox. The three team logo cards are blank-backed and are not sequentially-numbered. It is believed all three team logos were produced in roughly equal quantities.
