HTA is an acronym for the phrase Home Team Advantage. It was introduced by Topps in the late 1990s as a way to distinguish between hobby and retail packs. HTA packs are the same thing as jumbo packs. HTA packs usually contain 40 or more cards in which the insertion ratios are better than regular hobby and retail packs. Some HTA packs contain exclusive insert cards.
