2015 Topps Archives Signature Series

Description

2015 Topps Archives Signature Series was released exclusively to Hobby outlets during the second week of December 2015. Each box contains one encased autographed buyback card which is stamped as coming from this product and serial-numbered to 99 copies or less. Most cards bought back for this product are base cards from Topps' flagship baseball set; but cards from other Topps sets (Bowman, Stadium Club, Gallery, et al), as well as inserts and parallels were included. There has been at least one report of a Donruss card (1998 Donruss Craig Biggio) included in this product.

Rather than the plastic "slabs" Topps had used in the past (in brands like Topps Tribute and eTopps), each card is encased in an off-the-shelf Ultra-Pro One Touch magnetic holder with a sticker sealing it shut. Since One Touch holders can only fit standard-sized (2 1/2" X 3 1/2") cards, all pre-1957 Topps cards (which measure 2 5/8" X 3 3/4") used in this product are encased in top-loaders.

Distribution

One encased buyback autograph per box (MSRP: $45). 20 boxes per case. Hobby only.
