1996 Signature Rookies Old Judge
Description
1996 Signature Rookie Old Judge is a 37-card set featuring some of the top prospects of the era. Each base card is said to have been done in the style of the Old Judge tobacco cards of the 19th Century -- although the cards bear little resemblance. The product is not licensed by MLB and as such, all players are depicted in high school/college or airbrushed uniforms.
Each pack will yield one autograph.
Distribution
18 packs per box, seven cards per pack. 12,000 boxes produced.

Parallels
Club
A factory set was made available to members of Signature Rookies Collectors Club. Each card is stamped "Club Edition" on the front.
Autographs
35 of the 37 base cards are available in a de facto autographed parallel. Each card is hand-numbered to 6000 copies on the front.
NOTE: Cards #12 and #29 do not exist. Which is unfortunate, since card #12 was of Vladimir Guerrero, Sr. and he was, by far, the most notable player in the base set.

Autographed Inserts
With the exception of Major Respect, all inserts are also available in a de facto autographed parallel. Each autograph is hand-numbered to 1050 copies EXCEPT the Ken Griffey, Jr. cards which are numbered to 250. Unfortunately, it appears that all the autographed inserts packed out as redemptions which expired December 31st, 1997.
