UV Coating: Starting with 1991 Stadium Club baseball, most sets were produced with a glossy finish commonly called UV, or Ultra-Varnish (or something like that). It's NOT protection against ultra-violet rays, so don't even think about leaving your cards out in the sun, or they'll fade.
