Description

2005 Diamond Kings is a 450-card set released in two series of 300 and 150 cards by Donruss-Playoff. Series One (containing the first 300 cards) was issued in February, while the final 150 cards (#301-450) came out as part of the Diamond Kings Update Series. Each five-card pack contains either an insert or a parallel. Each Series One box yields two "hits" while Update Series boxes have one autograph and two game-used cards.

This product, like 2004 Diamond Kings is known for the almost obscene number of parallels.

12 packs per box, five cards per pack (MSRP: $6). Hobby only. 16 boxes per case.

DK Challenge Factory Set

The first 450 collectors to send into Donruss-Playoff a complete 450 base set (not including the 50 Black & White variations) would receive a special DK Challenge factory set. Each card is embossed with a special "DK Challenge" logo and packaged in a custom, serial-numbered, box.
