Description
2001 Donruss Signature Series is a 311-card set released in October 2001. As with the Signature Series sets produced by Donruss in the 90s, each pack contains one autograph. In addition, each 25-card "gift box" will yield two of a possible serial-numbered "rookie" cards -- although the vast majority of which are not "true" rookies.
Distribution
25 cards per "gift box" (MSRP: $49.99). Eight boxes per case. Hobby only.

Base Set
Autographed Rookies
Each "Autographed Rookie" is serial-numbered to 330 copies. Also note that, despite the name, not all cards in the subset are autographed, not are all "true" rookies.
Rookies
Each card in the un-autographed "Rookie" subset is serial-numbered to 800 copies.
Parallels
All 311 base cards are available in a "Proof" parallel. Each base card is serial-numbered to 175 copies while the Rookies (autographed and un-autographed) are numbered to 25. Like in the base set, the Proofs are also autographed.
Autographs & Game-Used
NOTE: All autographs are available in a "Master Series" parallel. The Masters Series cards are NOT serial-numbered.
