Description
1993 Fleer Baseball is a 720-card set. For the first time, Fleer Baseball was distributed in multiple series. The first series of 360 cards was released in February, 1993; with Series Two in June. Series Two was heavily-oriented towards players from the two 1993 expansion teams -- Colorado and Florida. With a simple, silver-bordered design, 1993 was the first year Fleer UV coated their insert on both sides.
For the first time since 1985, Fleer did not produce a factory set.
There are no notable rookie cards in the set.
Curiously, Ozzie Smith was not included in either series.
Distribution
Wax: 15 cards per pack, 36 packs per box.
Jumbo: 29 cards per pack, 24 packs per box.
Rack: 18 cards per pack, 24 packs per box.
