Topps produced this 33-card boxed set for Rite Aid Drug and Discount Stores subtitled "Team MVP's." Each of the then 26 MLB teams is represented with at least one card, with some teams represented more than once -- if only to fill out the set. The last three cards are of the ALCS, NLCS, and World Series MVP, respectively, and are notated on the front of the card.
The checklist for the set is found on the back panel of the small collector box. The statistics provided on the card backs cover only two lines, last season and Major League totals.
