Description
1973 Topps '53 Reprints is an eight-card set. Each card features the original artwork used on the player's respective 1953 Topps card, but in the style of the 1934-36 Diamond Stars.
It is believed that it was commissioned by Topps Product Development head Woody Gelman and given away at a Topps-sponsored banquet. Fewer than 300 sets were printed.
