HTA is an acronym for phrase Home Team Advantage. It was introduced by Topps in the late 1990s as a way to distinguish between hobby and retail packs. HTA packs are the same thing as jumbo packs. HTA packs usually contain 40 or more cards in which the insertion ratios are better than regular hobby and retail packs and some HTA packs have exclusive inserts.

There's some debate whether HTA packs contain more cards or hits of players on the local team.
