2001 Fleer Triple Crown

Description

2001 Fleer Triple Crown is a 310-card set. The first 300 cards were released as part of the Triple Crown product in January 2001, while the final ten cards (301-310) were randomly inserted into packs of 2001 Fleer Platinum Rookie Collection. The last 50 cards in the base set and the 10 Platinum cards make up a "Prospects" subset.

Parallels

Each of the first 100 base cards are available in one of four partial-parallel sets. Red, Green, and Blue are each exclusive to Hobby packs and serial-numbered to the production figures listed below.

Red

Each Red card is serial-numbered to the player's 2000 batting average.

Purple

NOTE: The Ted Williams card packed out as an exchange card. Unfortunately, Williams died before he was able to sign his cards. Collectors who redeemed a Williams redemption were said to have received more than enough compensation from Fleer.
