2015 is the second year of a long term deal that kept the Topps Company as the exclusive baseball card licensee of Major League Baseball through the year 2020. Topps is allowed to produce up to 17 different Major League releases, with products under $1/pack and sold exclusively on-line exempt. Panini is licensed only with the MLB Players Association, which means that while they are able to create cards with players, they are not allowed to use the logos and team names that are property of MLB.
