1997 Stadium Club
Description
1997 Stadium Club is a 390-card set released in two series of 195 cards. The last 15 cards in each series (TSC 2000 cards 181-195 and Stadium Sluggers Cards 376-390) are both short-printed.
Series One was released in February 1997, with Series Two, two months later. Please note that cards 361 and 374 do not exist. Due to an error at the manufacturer both Mike Sweeney and Tom Pagnozzi had their cards numbered as 274. In addition, Jermaine Dye and Brant Brown both had their cards numbered as 351. These numbering errors were never corrected and no premiums in value are associated.
Distribution
Series One Hobby/Retail: 24 packs per box, eight cards per pack (MSRP: $3).
Series One HTA: Ten packs per box, 13 cards per pack (MSRP: $5).
Series Two Hobby: 24 packs per box, nine cards per pack (MSRP: $3).
Series Two retail: 24 packs per box, six cards per pack (MSRP: $2).
