Description

1991 Pepsi Superstars is a seventeen-card set. One card was glued inside specially marked 12-packs of Pepsi-Cola products distributed in the Orlando, Tampa Bay, and Miami areas. The promotion featured a chance to win one of 104 rare, older cards, including one 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card. The cards measure slightly wider than standard size (2 5/8" by 3 1/2"). This set is also known as the "Flavor of Baseball" set.

Because the cards were glued inside each box, it is difficult to remove the cards without creasing them. Reportedly area supervisors for Pepsi each received a few sets.

This set is not licensed by MLB; therefore, all team logos are airbrushed out.
