1999 Upper Deck Mark McGwire Boxed Sets

Description

Upper Deck issued two separate 30-card Mark McGwire boxed sets: One commemorating his 500th home run, and a Tribute set celebrating his 1998 season. Both sets were distributed primarily to mass market retail outlets.

The 500 Home Run set features highlights from through out McGwire's career, while the Tribute set is exclusive from the 1998 season. The 500 Home Run set was packaged in a "Blaster" type box, while the Tribute set came in a commemorative Lunchbox.
