Description

In 2002 Fleer signed Barry Bonds to an exclusive autograph deal and produced a number of commemorative cards that were distributed unconventionally.

4X MVP Jumbo

Commemorating his, then, four National League MVP awards, Fleer produced a 5 1/4" X 3 1/2" jumbo that was sold exclusively through the Shop at Home television network. The card was available both autographed and unautographed. Bonds signed 2001 cards with an additional 5000 unautographed cards produced. All cards are hand-numbered on the reverse side and were professionally-graded by BCCG.

This card, celebrating Bonds's 600th career home run, was sold through Goldin Sports Marketing. It too, measures 5 1/4" X 3 1/2" and was pre-graded by BGGC. A total of 2500 hand-numbered cards were produced with an additional 600 hand-numbered autographed cards with a piece of a game-used bat also made.

There is also an unautographed promo card with a piece of the game-used bat; however, it is unclear how this card was distributed. this card is hand-numbered "PROMO/600" on the back.

This standard-sized (3 1/2" X 2 1/2") card was autographed and features a piece of a game-used bat and is hand-numbered to 600 copies. Because this card is done in the style of the 2002 E-X set, it is often confused as being part of that product. It was made available exclusively through Fleer's network of Hobby dealers.
