2003 SP Authentic hobby box

Description

2003 SP Authentic is a 239-card set released by Upper Deck in two series. The first 189 cards were released as part of the SP Authentic product in May, 2003. The SP Authentic Series consists of a 90-card short-set and four serial-numbered subsets: 33 SP Archives (cards #91-#123; each serial-numbered to 2500), 26 Back to '93 (cards #124-#150; serial-numbered to 1993), 30 Future Watch Prospects (#151-#180; serial-numbered to 2003), and nine Autographed Future Watch Prospects (#181-#189; serial-numbered to 500).

Each 24-pack Hobby box yielded one autograph and seven serial-numbered cards.

The final 50 cards (#190-#239) were randomly inserted into packs of 2003 UD Finite. Each UD Finite Series card is an extension of the Future Watch Prospects subset, and each was serial-numbered to 699 copies.

Distribution

SP Authentic Series: 24 packs per box, five cards per pack (MSRP: $5). 12 Boxes per case. Hobby only.
