2003 Fleer Showcase
Description
2003 Fleer Showcase is a 145-card set issued in two series. The first 135 cards were released in March, 2003 as part of the regular Fleer Showcase product. The final 30 cards (#106-135) make up the "Showcasing Talent" subset and were short-printed.
The Hobby edition of Fleer Showcase was divided into three different pack types: Leather, Lumber, and Jersey, each containing their own exclusive inserts. Each 24-pack Hobby box contained eight packs from each. The retail edition had only one pack type.
The final ten cards were randomly inserted into packs of 2003 Fleer Rookies & Greats. Each Rookies & Greats card was serial-numbered to 750 copies.
