Limited Edition Ken Griffey, Jr. Autograph cards were randomly inserted. Also inserted was a special redemption card to be redeemed for an exclusive Ken Griffey, Jr. 300th HR Commemorative Card .

300th Home Run Redemption Card
Each boxed set came with a redemption card good for an eleventh card, which would commemorate Griffey's 300th career home run. (Griffey had finished the 1997 season with 294 homers). Collector's had until December 31st, 1998 to claim their card.
Autographs
Randomly inserted into boxed sets were 100 Ken Griffey, Jr. autographs. Griffey autographed ten copies of each of the ten base set cards, and each is hand-numbered to ten.
