Description

1999 Pacific Crown Collection is a 300-card set. The cards are written in both English and Spanish, and was distributed primarily to the Latin American market.

Beginning in 1999, Pacific received a license to produce baseball cards in English only and in English and Spanish. Prior to this, from 1993-98 their license mandated they produce cards in English and Spanish. For '99, Pacific decided to release two "flagship" brands: The English-only Pacific brand, and the bilingual Crown Collection. (The previous 1993-98 bilingual flagship set had been known informally as "Pacific Crown Collection")
