2003 Fleer Box Score
Description
2002 Fleer Box Score is a 244-card set released in July, 2003. The set consists of 125 cards that were issued in packs, and 119 cards that were exclusive to one of five supplementary boxes that were randomly seeded into Hobby boxes.
Cards 1-100 feature veteran players. The next ten cards make up the "Box Score Debuts" subset, with each card containing the actual USA Today Baseball Weekly box score from the player's respective Major League debut. Each Box Score Debut is serial-numbered to 599 copies. The last fifteen pack-inserted cards (#111-#125) make up a short-printed rookie subset.
The final 119 base cards were distributed in one of five, 31-card, boxes that were inserted as box toppers. These boxes were meant to evoke the numerous boxed sets Fleer produced in the 1980s. There are five different boxes, each with 30 base cards and one game-used memorabilia card.

Only 2400 of each boxed set was produced with the exception of the Classic Miniatures First Edition box, which is serial-numbered to 100 sets.
