Description

2002 Donruss Classics is a 225 card set released in two series. The first 200 cards of the 225 card set was released as part of the Donruss Classics product in June 2002; while the final 25 cards were randomly inserted into packs of 2002 Donruss The Rookies.

Cards 1-100 are the base cards while 101-225 are short-printed and serial-numbered to 1500 copies each. 101-150 are rookie and prospect cards while 151-200 are retired stars with one card from each subset inserted into every nine-pack mini box.

As with most 2002 products, there are no notable rookies in the main set; however, an RC of Cliff Lee was included in the Donruss The Rookies Series.

Distribution

Two nine-pack "mini-boxes" per box, six cards per pack (MSRP: $5). Hobby only. Four boxes per case.
