2018 Topps Now Road to Opening Day is a series of fifteen-card team sets, all produced to order by Topps. Each set retailed for $49.99. Unlike the traditional Topps Now cards, which were only available for a 24 hour period, Road to Opening Day sets were sold from around the time pitchers and catchers reported in February, to just after Opening Day in mid-April. NOTES
- Aaron Judge only signed Purple, Red, Orange, and Gold cards.
- Based on the number of autograph sets sold, it is obvious that most players did not come close to signing their full allotment of autographs. For example, there were three Milwaukee Brewers who signed, but only 61 autographed sets were sold -- meaning that each player only signed a maximum of 21 autographs, well short of the 189 cards (99 + 49 + 25 + 10 + 5 + 1 = 189) they could have signed. It is unclear if each player signed all their allotted autographs, and if they did, what Topps did with the unsold ones.
