Description

1959 Topps is a 572-card set released in five series -- the largest Topps set to date. Compared to other Topps sets of the era, 1959 is relatively easy to build and affordable -- due to the lack of premiere rookie cards (Bob Gibson and Sparky Anderson notwithstanding). '59 marked the Topps debut of Stan Musial. Ted Williams does not appear in the set, as he signed with Fleer who issued their own Williams-centric product.
