Description
1977 Laughlin Erorrs (the misspelling of "error" was intentional) is a 39-card set, self-published by sports artist R.G. Laughlin -- best known for his work with Fleer in the 60s and 70s. Each card is blank-backed and measures 2 5/8" X 3 3/4" -- the same as a pre-1957 Topps card.
Each card features a reference to a famous error from a previously-released baseball card set listing the year, card make, and sequential-number, along with am illustration of the player.
This set was available from the artist via mail order for $3 at the time of issue.
