Description

1996 Upper Deck Ripken Collection is a 23-card, cross-brand, insert issued in honor of baseball's "Iron Man."

The cards were inserted at the following ratios:

Cards 1-4 and Header: 1996 Collectors Choice Series One (1:12/packs).

Cards 5-8: 1996 Upper Deck Series One (1:24/packs).

Cards 9-12 and Header: 1996 Collectors Choice Series Two (1:12/packs).

Cards 13-17: 1996 Upper Deck Series Two (1:24/packs).

Cards 18-22: 1996 SP (1:45)

The Collectors Choice cards are printed on UV-coated cardstock; while the Upper Deck cards were on foil-board. The 5 cards inserted into SP packs were printed on etched foil.
