Description
2000 Upper Deck Hitter's Club is a 90-card set released exclusively to retail outlets in February, 2000. As the name suggests, the set focuses exclusively on hitters -- there are no pitchers in the product.
Pete Rose was on the provisional checklist, but had to be withdrawn due to his lifetime ban from baseball. Rose was scheduled to have a base card, an insert, and an autograph. None of these cards have ever emerged, and it can be assumed they were never printed.
Distribution
24 packs per box, five cards per (MSRP: $2.99). Retail only.
