Hideo Nomo "Rookie"
A special card of Hideo Nomo (#251) was issued later in the year to those dealers who ordered a specific number of cases directly from Pinnacle Brands. Despite not being issued in packs, the card is attainable on the secondary market and a set is considered complete with it; however, it is not considered a "true" rookie card.

Artist's Proofs were seeded into packs at the rate of 1:24, or one-per-box.
Like with the base set, a Hideo Nomo Artist's Proof was randomly distributed directly to Hobby dealers and never inserted in packs.
