Fresh off the successful Topps 206 release of a year earlier, the first series of [[2003 Topps 205]] was released in July, 2003. The base set consists of 150 cards with 15 (non-short-printed) variations. Each eight-card pack contained one mini-sized parallel, and one "Triple Folder" insert.

Just like the original 1911 T-205's, there are separate designs for the National League, American League, and minor league players. The first 120 cards consists of current Major League players. Cards numbered #121 through #144 feature prospects and first-year players, all using the ornate T-205 Minor League design. Among this subset is a rookie card of Hanley Ramirez.

Card number number 145 features the "rookie card" Louis Sockalexis, a member of the Penobscot Tribe, who was supposedly the player the Cleveland Indians named their team in honor of. Despite playing three seasons with the then Cleveland Spiders, Sockalexis never appeared on a trading card. Cards numbered 146 to 150 feature various "reprints" of some of the tougher T-205 cards.

[[2002 Upper Deck MVP]] is a 301-card set released in May, 2002. Card #301 was added very late in the production run; however, it was not short-printed. Every other Hobby box will yield a game-used card.

Each 20-pack box yielded two framed "hits," a box containing an addition 20 mini cards, and a historical essay from noted collector Keith Olbermann. Also randomly inserted in packs were cards featuring "repurchased" tobacco cards. Those cards were inserted at a stated rate of 1:336/packs.

The second series of Topps 205 was released in February 2004. Originally, Topps planned on 205 being a single-series release. However, the tremendous reception 205 received caused Topps to reconsider.

[[2015 Panini Contenders]] is a 99-card set, released November 11th, 2015. As with all other Panini products, it is not licensed by Major League Baseball, and as such, none of the cards are considered "true" rookies. However, the set is licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Corporation (CLC) and USA Baseball and features players, primarily, in their college uniforms.

[[2026 Topps Heritage]] is a 400-card set. In keeping with the brand's aesthetic, the design is based on the 1977 Topps set. Although the base set was reduced to only 400 cards, there are still 100 short-prints -- which are scattered through out the set, rather than concentrated towards the end.

Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield six autographs with every third box yielding a seventh autograph. Every 12-box case will contain two autographs of Kyle Schwarber, Corey Seager and Yoan Moncada.
Each Hobby box, which has four fewer packs, will yield an autograph, relic, or autographed relic.

[[2015 Topps Chrome Update]] is a 50-card set released exclusively to Target stores starting the first week of November. Each $14.99 "Mega" box contains five packs of [[2015 Topps Update]] and two packs of four 2015 Topps Chrome Update cards. Unlike last year, this set is skip-numbered using the same sequential numbers from the Topps Update set.
[[2025-26 Bowman's Best]] was released March 11th, 2026 and consists of a 70-card base set supplemented by a 30-card Prospects set. Each pack will yield one Refractor parallel, and each 12-pack Hobby box will have four autographs.

Interestingly, each card (base, parallel, insert, and game used) has a "Speckled" Refractor sheen.
Due to the late release of this product, BCP does not consider it a "2025" set for rookie card purposes.

[[2015 Topps Heritage '51]] is a 104-card boxed set released October 28th. As the name implies, the set is based on the design of the 1951 Topps set, which was skipped over in favor of the more famous 1952 set when the Heritage brand was established in 2001. Not counting the "update" style Heritage High Numbers sets of 2012-14, this is the first Heritage set released in this form.
[[2025 Topps Gilded Collection]] is a 200-card Chrome stock set. All base cards are serial-numbered to 99 copies. Each five card box will yield two autographs.
Each boxed set will include the full 104-card base set, 21 parallels, and an autograph.

This is billed as the "Tenth Anniversary" of the popular product, although this is not accurate. While 2015 is the tenth "TANG" set, Allen & Ginter's tenth anniversary will be in 2016 -- ten years after the release of 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter's. Nonetheless, there are a number of Tenth Anniversary commemorations in the 2015 edition. As usual, each 24-pack Hobby box will include three of the following: Autographs, Relics, Rip Cards, or A&G Originals.

The set is notable for having the first certified autographs of Ichiro in a Topps product -- not to mention the first Ichiro Topps cards of any kind since 2012. The product will also include autographs of the cast of the Rocky films, signed in character, as well as autographs of selected 2015 NBA draft picks. Also, for the first time all 350 base cards were printed in equal quantities; however, the corresponding Mini parallels will have SPs .

Just Released

2026 Topps Heritage is a 400-card set. In keeping with the brand's aesthetic, the design is based on the 1977 Topps set. Although the base set was reduced to only 400 cards, there are still 100 short-prints -- which are scattered through out the set, rather than concentrated towards the end.

Each Hobby box, which has four fewer packs, will yield an autograph, relic, or autographed relic.

2025-26 Bowman's Best was released March 11th, 2026 and consists of a 70-card base set supplemented by a 30-card Prospects set. Each pack will yield one Refractor parallel, and each 12-pack Hobby box will have four autographs.

Due to the late release of this product, BCP does not consider it a "2025" set for rookie card purposes.

2025 Topps Gilded Collection is a 200-card Chrome stock set. All base cards are serial-numbered to 99 copies. Each five card box will yield two autographs.

2025 Stadium Club is a 200-card set released February 18th, 2026. Each Hobby box will yield an autograph.

2025 Panini Prospect Edition is a 200-card set released February 18th, 2026. Each six-pack box will yield four autographs.

2025 Topps Pristine is a 300-card set to released February 12th, 2026. Each eight-card pack has three mini packs. One mini pack will contain five base cards/Refractors, the second will have either two inserts or an Autographed Relic, while the third will yield an encased card.

2026 Topps is a 700-card set released in two equal series of 350 cards. Series One was issued the week of February 13th. As usual, each 20-pack Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a Relic card while Hobby-exclusive jumbo boxes will yield an autograph, a game-used Relic -- down from the previous year's two.

2025 Topps Museum Collection is a 100-card set released February 6th, 2026. After years of having four packs in a Hobby box, Topps changed the format of Museum Collection to a one-pack-per box product -- not unlike Tier One, Diamond Icons, and other "hit" oriented products.

Each eight-card box will yield the following:

  • Three base cards
  • Two parallels
  • One Relic
  • One Autograph
  • One Autographed Relic

This is nine fewer base cards, two fewer parallels, and one fewer Relic than the previous year's product, but at the same $399.99 price.

2025 Bowman Draft is a 200-card set released January 14th, 2026. Each Hobby only Jumbo box will contain three autographs, 24 Refractors, and eleven inserts, while Super Jumbo boxes will yield five signatures, 40 Refractors, and ten inserts.

2025 Select was released January 14th, 2026. The 300-card base set is fractured into three levels.

Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield twelve Prizm parallels, nine inserts, two autographs, and a game-used card.

2025 Topps Five Star was released December 29th. For the first time since the product's 2013 edition, there is a 100-card base set. Each six-card box will contain five autographs, three more than in the previous year's product -- one of which will be either an Autographed Relic, a colored ink autograph, or a acetate autograph -- and one base card or base card parallel.

2025 Panini Flawless is a 99-card set released December 23rd. Each ten-card box will yield two jewel-encrusted base cards or parallels serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and six autographs.

2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome is a 200-card set released December 17th. Each 20-pack Hobby box will contain four Refractors and an insert. Every third box will yield an autograph.

2025 Topps Archives is a 300-card set released the week of December 12th. This year's set replicates the 1964, 1996, and 2005 Topps designs.

Each 24-pack Hobby box will continue to yield two autographs.

2025 Topps Chrome Update is a 200-card set released in December 10th. As with previous iterations of this product, it is an abbreviated chromium-stock rendition of the Topps Update set.

2025 Topps Allen & Ginter is a 350-card set, released the week of December 3rd. Each 24-pack Hobby box will include two (down from the usual three) of the following: Autographs, Relics, Rip Cards, Printing Plates or A&G Originals. Also, for the first time, Hobby boxes will not come with an oversized box topper.

2025 National Treasures was released by Panini November 19th. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

2025 Topps Diamond Icons is a 100-card set released October 22nd. As usual, each eleven-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics. Every other box will yield a cut signature. All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.

New for 2025 is a base set, with each box containing either a base card, or a parallel.
