[[2009 SP Legendary Cuts]] is a 200-card set released by Upper Deck June 3rd, 2009. The last 100 base cards are short-printed and are serial-numbered to 550 copies. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield one short-print, seven 20th Anniversary inserts, three game-used memorabilia cards, and one dual memorabilia card. Each 16-box case should contain one 20th Anniversary memorabilia card, two autographs, two cut signatures, and one Mystery Cuts redemption card.

[[2025 Topps Allen & Ginter]] is a 350-card set, released the week of December 3rd. Each 24-pack Hobby box will include two (down from the usual three) of the following: Autographs, Relics, Rip Cards, Printing Plates or A&G Originals.  Also, for the first time, Hobby boxes will not come with an oversized box topper.

[[2025 National Treasures]] was released by Panini November 19th. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

[[2012 Bowman Chrome]], a 220-card set supplemented with a 110-card Prospects insert set, was scheduled to be released to the hobby on October 17th, 2012, however some hobby cases and boxes surfaced on Friday, October 12. Retail was spotted for sale as early as October 14th. As in past years, every 18-pack Hobby box will contain an autograph. New for 2012, every third Hobby box will contain a second autograph. Based on extrapolation, approximately 6,027 hobby cases were produced.
[[2025 Topps Update]] is a 350-card set released November 12th. You know the deal.

[[2012 Topps Update]], a 330-card set, was released on Monday, October 1, 2012. As in recent years, Update will include 55 rookies, various All-Star Game and season highlight cards, and cards of some players who had changed teams during the 2012 season. Each 36-pack Hobby box is scheduled to include either an autograph or relic card, and each 10-pack Home Team Advantage-exclusive Jumbo box will yield one autograph, a Relic, and a manufactured "Relic" insert. Like recent Topps flagship releases, short-print variations and super short-prints are also seeded into packs.
[[2025 Topps Pro Debut]] is a 200-card Minor League set released November 12th. Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield four autographs.

[[2012 Triple Threads]], released by Topps on September 18, 2012, is a 154-card base set with at least 54 autographed "Rookies & Future Phenoms" subset cards each serial-numbered to 99 copies or less. Each seven card pack will yield three base cards, two parallels, one Triple Relic, and Unity Relic. One relic in each pack will be autographed.
[[2025 Topps Diamond Icons]] is a 100-card set released October 22nd.  As usual, each eleven-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics.  Every other box will yield a cut signature.  All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.
 
New for 2025 is a base set, with each box containing either a base card, or a parallel.

[[2012 Topps Chrome]], a 220-card set, was released to retail outlets on August 18, 2012. It was officially released to the hobby on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield two autographs.
[[2025 Bowman Chrome]] was released September 24th with a 100-card base set supplemented by a 100-card Prospects set. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs.  Breaker's Delight boxes contain three autographs.

Each "Master Box" will contain one Autographed Rookie Refractor, one Autographed Jumbo Relic Rookie Refractor, two Finest Moments inserts, one Faces of the Franchise and Game Changers inserts, and six various Refractor parallels. Two mini-boxes per Master Box. Six packs per mini-box (MSRP: $50), five cards per pack. Hobby only. One Master box in every four cases, will be a "Hot Box" that will yeild a base refractor parallel in place of every base card.
[[2025 Panini Prizm]] is a 300-card set released September 12th. Each twelve-card Hobby pack will contain an insert and two Prizm parallels. Every fourth Hobby pack will yield an autograph.

[[2012 Topps Mini]], a mini-sized version of the the base Topps set, was released on August 1, 2012. Boxes were availble for sale at the Topps corporate booth at the 2012 NSCC for $50. The first 100 collectors to buy a box received a five-card promo set which includes: Yu Darvish, Bryce Harper, Matt Kemp, Stephen Strasburg and Roy Halladay. Boxes are are exclusively available for sale on the Topps web site.  
[[2025 Topps Tier One]] was released September 10th. A box will contain one base card or base card parallel, two autographs and a relic.

Produced by Panini America, [[2012 Triple Play]] is a 90-card set released August 1st, 2012 at the 2012 NSCC. Just like the Triple Play sets of the early-90s, the set is primarily geared towards children. The entire base set features computerized vector art. Please note, that this set is NOT licensed by MLB Properties and does not feature any MLB logos.
[[2025 Panini Impeccable]] is a 100-card set released September 5th. All cards in the product are serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer. Each nine-card Hobby box will yield five autographs.

[[2012 Bowman Platinum]], a 100-card set, was released on July 25, 2012. The 100-card base set will be supplemented by a 100-card Prospects set. Each 20-pack Hobby box is expected to yield two Autographed Prospects, one Autographed Relic, five Prospect and four Top Prospect inserts, a pair of Cutting Edge die-cut inserts, and seven base set parallels.
[[2025 Panini Boys of Summer]] is a 100-card set released August 27th. All base cards are limited to 249 copies. Each eight-card box will yield one game-used card and three autographs.

[[2025 Finest]] is a 300-card set released August 12th.
 
For the second consecutive year, Finest has a tiered base set.  The first 100 cards are "Commons".  Cards #101-200 are "Uncommons" and are seeded at the rate of one-per-pack.  The final 100 cards are "Rare" and come one in every third pack.
 
A six-pack Hobby box is expected to yield:
 
* Six Uncommon base cards

* Twelve Refractor parallels.

[[2012 Topps Allen & Ginter's]], a 350-card set, was released to retail outlets Monday, July 9, 2012. It will be released to the hobby on July 11, 2012. Each hobby box will yield three autographs, relics, original Allen & Ginter cards or Rip cards. Every pack contains a mini parallel card and one in every six pack contain a Ginter code card.  
[[2025 Topps Chrome]] is a 300-card set released July 23rd. Each Hobby box will yield one autograph eight inserts and 12 Refractors while each Jumbo box will have three autos and twelve Refractors.

[[2012 SP Signature Edition]], originally scheduled for release on May 1st, was released on July 3, 2012. Each three-card pack will contain two autographs and a multi-player signed autograph. Upper Deck has yet to unveil either a checklist or images of the cards in this set. In fact, UD did not even unveil the existence of this product until a week before it's original release date. This product will be licensed by the MLB Players Association, but not MLB Properties.
[[2024-25 Topps Dynasty]] was released June 27th, 2025. As usual, each box will contain an encased autographed patch card serial-numbered to ten or fewer.
 
Because this product was released almost halfway into 2025, BCP does not consider it a "2024" product.

[[2012 Topps Tier One]], a hobby-only product, was released on June 21, 2012. Each pack promises at least one On The Rise autographs, a relic serial-numbered to 399 copies or less, and either a Crowd Pleaser autograph, mutil-player autograph, autographed relic or cut signature in each pack. Every 12-pack case will yield one Top Tier autograph.
[[2025 Donruss]] is a 200 card set released June 18th.

[[2012 Topps Pro Debut]] is a 220-card Minor League set.  It was released exclusively to The Hobby the week of June 11th, 2012 after a three week delay. Each 24-pack box is expected to yield two autographs and two "relics."
[[2024-25 Topps Inception]] is a 125-card set released exclusively to Hobby outlets on June 18th, 2025. Each seven-card box will contain four base cards, two parallels, and an autograph.
 
Although marketed as a "2024" set, due to the late release date, BCP does not recognize this as a "2024" product for rookie card purposes.

[[2012 Topps Series Two]] was released to mass-market retail outlets June 2, 2012 and to The Hobby on June 6, 2012. The base set will consist of 331 cards (#331-#661) and each Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a game-used Relic.
[[2025 Topps Sterling]] was released June 4th. Each two-card box contains two autographed game-used cards serial-numbered to 25 copies or less with every fourth box yielding a one-of-one.

[[2012 Topps Archives]], a 241-card set, was released Friday, May 17, 2012. Due to restrictions on the number of retired players that can appear in a specific product alongside current MLB players, 2012 Archives can not be structured like the Archives sets of the 1990s and 2000s -- i.e. a set full of reprints. Instead, the set will feature current stars in a variety of classic designs along with a subset based on the All-Time Fan Favorites set of the 2000s. Each 24-pack Hobby box is expected to yield two All-Time Fan Favorites autographs.
[[2024-25 Panini Flawless]] is an 100-card set released May 14th, 2025. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

[[2012 Bowman]] Baseball was released to retail on May 4, 2012. The set features 220 cards and a 110 card Prospect insert set. Each Hobby box will yield one on-card autograph. Each pack will contain five base cards, one Gold parallel, two Prospects, two Chrome Prospects. For the first time since 2008, Bowman will not include and Team USA content.
[[2025 Bowman]] is a 100-card set, supplemented by a 150-card Prospects set, released May 7th. Each Hobby box will yield one autograph and 18 inserts. Hobby Jumbo boxes will contain three autographs and 12 inserts.

Limited will feature Panini's first USA Baseball cards since acquiring the license and the first batting helmet game-used cards in any product in a decade.  
[[2024-25 National Treasures]] was released by Panini May 7th, 2025. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.
 
Although Panini is marketing this as a "2024" product, due to the product's late release, BCP considers this a 2025 set.

[[2011-12 Playoff Prime Cuts]] was released by Panini on April 18, 2012. Each pack/box contains five cards, two of which are autographs and the other three game-used. Each pack contains one base cards, serial-numbered to 99 copies, or a game-used base card parallel numbered to 199 or less. Panini has marketed Prime Cuts as a year-2011 product. However since it was released in April, 2012, BCP does not consider it a "2011" product. Please note, that this set is NOT licensed by MLB Properties and does not feature any MLB logos.
[[2025 Topps Chrome Black]] is a 150-card set to be released April 30th.  Chrome Black has a new pack-driven format. Each box will contain two packs of seven cards, plus one individually-wrapped encased autograph.

Set of the Month

2009 SP Legendary Cuts is a 200-card set released by Upper Deck June 3rd, 2009. The last 100 base cards are short-printed and are serial-numbered to 550 copies. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield one short-print, seven 20th Anniversary inserts, three game-used memorabilia cards, and one dual memorabilia card. Each 16-box case should contain one 20th Anniversary memorabilia card, two autographs, two cut signatures, and one Mystery Cuts redemption card.

2025 Topps Allen & Ginter is a 350-card set, released the week of December 3rd. Each 24-pack Hobby box will include two (down from the usual three) of the following: Autographs, Relics, Rip Cards, Printing Plates or A&G Originals. Also, for the first time, Hobby boxes will not come with an oversized box topper.

2025 National Treasures was released by Panini November 19th. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

2025 Topps Update is a 350-card set released November 12th. You know the deal.

2025 Topps Pro Debut is a 200-card Minor League set released November 12th. Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield four autographs.

2025 Topps Diamond Icons is a 100-card set released October 22nd. As usual, each eleven-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics. Every other box will yield a cut signature. All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.

New for 2025 is a base set, with each box containing either a base card, or a parallel.

2025 Panini Three & Two is a 150-card set released October 1st. Each five-card box will contain the following:

  • Three base, parallel, or insert cards, serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.
  • One encased game-used memorabilia card.
  • One encased autograph or autographed game-used memorabilia card.

2025 Bowman Chrome was released September 24th with a 100-card base set supplemented by a 100-card Prospects set. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs. Breaker's Delight boxes contain three autographs.

2025 Panini Prizm is a 300-card set released September 12th. Each twelve-card Hobby pack will contain an insert and two Prizm parallels. Every fourth Hobby pack will yield an autograph.

2025 Topps Tier One was released September 10th. A box will contain one base card or base card parallel, two autographs and a relic.

2025 Panini Impeccable is a 100-card set released September 5th. All cards in the product are serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer. Each nine-card Hobby box will yield five autographs.

2025 Panini Boys of Summer is a 100-card set released August 27th. All base cards are limited to 249 copies. Each eight-card box will yield one game-used card and three autographs.

2025 Finest is a 300-card set released August 12th.

For the second consecutive year, Finest has a tiered base set. The first 100 cards are "Commons". Cards #101-200 are "Uncommons" and are seeded at the rate of one-per-pack. The final 100 cards are "Rare" and come one in every third pack.

A six-pack Hobby box is expected to yield:

  • Six Uncommon base cards
  • Two Rare base cards
  • Twelve Refractor parallels.
  • Ten inserts
  • Two Autographs.

2025 Topps Chrome is a 300-card set released July 23rd. Each Hobby box will yield one autograph eight inserts and 12 Refractors while each Jumbo box will have three autos and twelve Refractors.

2024-25 Topps Dynasty was released June 27th, 2025. As usual, each box will contain an encased autographed patch card serial-numbered to ten or fewer.

Because this product was released almost halfway into 2025, BCP does not consider it a "2024" product.

2025 Donruss is a 200 card set released June 18th.

2024-25 Topps Inception is a 125-card set released exclusively to Hobby outlets on June 18th, 2025. Each seven-card box will contain four base cards, two parallels, and an autograph.

Although marketed as a "2024" set, due to the late release date, BCP does not recognize this as a "2024" product for rookie card purposes.

2025 Topps Sterling was released June 4th. Each two-card box contains two autographed game-used cards serial-numbered to 25 copies or less with every fourth box yielding a one-of-one.

We estimate that 1400 cases were produced -- an increase in product of over 40% for the previous year's product.

2024-25 Panini Flawless is an 100-card set released May 14th, 2025. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2025 Bowman is a 100-card set, supplemented by a 150-card Prospects set, released May 7th. Each Hobby box will yield one autograph and 18 inserts. Hobby Jumbo boxes will contain three autographs and 12 inserts.

2024-25 National Treasures was released by Panini May 7th, 2025. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

Although Panini is marketing this as a "2024" product, due to the product's late release, BCP considers this a 2025 set.

2025 Topps Chrome Black is a 150-card set to be released April 30th. Chrome Black has a new pack-driven format. Each box will contain two packs of seven cards, plus one individually-wrapped encased autograph.

2025 Topps Heritage is a 500 card set, released April 23rd. In keeping with the brand's aesthetic, the design is based on the 1976 Topps set.

2025 Topps Tribute was released April 16th. As usual, each three-card pack will include either an autograph or a Relic with half of packs yielding a Relic and half either an autograph or an autographed Relic. Two of the Relics in each Hobby box will be multi-swatch.

2024-25 Select was released April 10th, 2025. The 300-card base set is fractured into three levels.

Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield twelve Prizm parallels, nine inserts, two autographs, and a game-used card.

2024-25 Topps Heritage High Number Series is a 225-card set released March 26th, 2025 -- over a full year after the release of the 2024 Topps Heritage brand, and six months after the High Number Series' normal September release date. Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield five Chrome parallels, seven other non-Chrome parallels, and either an autograph or Relic card.

2024 Panini Prospect Edition is a 200-card set, and is the new name for the Elite Extra Edition brand. Each eight-card pack will yield five Prospect Ticket base cards, two inserts, and an autograph.

2025 Topps Series One is a 350-card set released the week of February 12th. As usual, each 20-pack Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a Relic card while Hobby-exclusive jumbo boxes will yield an autograph, a game-used Relic, and a manufactured "relic."

2024 Panini Three & Two is a 100-card set released February 14th, 2025. Each five-card box will contain the following:

  • Three base, parallel, or insert cards
  • One encased game-used memorabilia card.
  • One encased autograph or autographed game-used memorabilia card.
