1997 Denny's is a 29-card set was produced by Pinnacle Brands for Denny's Restaurants and features a star player from each of the Major League baseball teams. Card #29 is a commemorative Jackie Robinson card and card #30 of Larry Doby was only distributed in the Cleveland area. The fronts feature 3-D lenticular color player photos. The backs carry a 3-D hologram and player statistics. By purchasing any entree and non-alcoholic beverage, a collector could purchase a card for 59 cents. A significant portion of the proceeds went to support Denny's national charity, Save the Children.
