The National may have reached its apex in 1991, when 100,000 collectors attended the 12th National in Anaheim, California. By comparison, the 1999 National in Atlanta drew a crowd of only 25,000. By comparison, the 1999 National in Atlanta drew a crowd of only 25,000; however, the 2014 edition was the third most attended event (43,200) in the 35-year history of The National.  The 2023 edition in Rosemont, IL broke the record drawing over 100,000.
 
The 44th annual National Sports Collectors Conventions is scheduled to take place from July 30th-August 3rd 2025 at the Donald E. Stephens Center in Rosemont, IL.  In fact, the 45th and 46th NSCCs (2026 and 2027) will also take place at the Stephens Center, marking the first time the NSCC will take place in the same venue in consecutive years.
