In 1975, Topps issued cards of their various photographers.  It is believed that the cards were issued directly to the photographers and other Topps employees.  Little other information about this set is known.  At the time, Topps employed 134 photographers, however only 12 have surfaced in The Hobby.
In 1975 Light Impressions of Rochester, NY, in association with Topps, issued a 135-card set of famous photographers, art critics, museum curators and art historians.

The set was the brainchild of photographer Mike Mandel who traveled around the U.S. with baseball equipment and uniforms.  The cards are simple black-and-white shots featuring the subjects in various baseball-related poses.  Each subject was given full leeway to write whatever they wanted on the back.
 
In early 2010, a full set was sold at auction for $5675.

Description
