ACC (American Card Catalog): Reference book published from 1937 to 1960 by hobby pioneer Jefferson Burdick. Burdick's system of letter prefixes and number suffixes to classify pre-WWII card sets (e.g. T-206) are still in use by The Hobby today.

Some common ACC prefixes include:

  • B: Blankets and felt items
  • C: Canadian tobacco cards
  • E: Pre-WWI candy and caramel cards
  • F: Food issues
  • H: Advertising and trade cards
  • M: Periodicals
  • N: 19th Century tobacco cards
  • R: Post-WWI candy and gum cards
  • T: 20th Century tobacco cards
  • V: Canadian candy and gum cards
