	It's important to note that a couple of counterfeit Matsuzaka autographs from this set have emerged on the market: a 1993 SP design and a 1996 SP design. Also, non-autographs contain a short paragraph on the back about the player, as well as, a player statistics line. The autographs, on the other hand, contain a congratulatory message in place of the short paragraph, and a facsimile signature from former Upper Deck CEO Richard McWilliam in place of the player statistics line. Lastly, most autographed stickers were placed on the lower portion of the card. To ensure the dark blue ink would stand out against the backgrounds, Upper Deck used the photographic technique known as dodging to lighten the lower portion of the photographs of all the cards that were to receive autographed stickers.
