	2002 eTopps is a series of 107 cards available directly through Topps. Starting with the beginning of the 2002 MLB season and continuing through the All-Star break these cards were made available on a weekly basis. A predetermined number of "shares" (ranging from as few as 2000 to as many as 6000) were given for each player based upon Topps estimation of popularity. For 2002, your "portfolio" could increase if the players in the set met certain statistical goals for the season. Price per card during IPO status typically ranged from approximately $4 per card to $9 per card - again based on popularity. The one week IPO period was the only time these cards were ever offered for sale by Topps and most importantly Topps only printed the exact amount of cards that were ordered during that window of time.
