2001 Upper Deck Gold Glove is a 135-card set issued in November 2001. The set focuses on the best defensive players in the majors. Cards numbered 91-135 were short printed and featured all Rookie Cards. Cards numbered 91-129 were serial numbered to 1000 and cards numbered 130-135 were serial numbered to 500.

Each 21-pack box is expected to yield one game-used batting glove card, one game-used jersey card, and one game-used ball card. Each sealed box also includes a three-card Joe DiMaggio Pinstripe Exclusives pack as a box topper.
