Donruss-Playoff created a limited amount of singles from selected products and serial-numbered each card to five~~.		Donruss-Playoff issued a series of promotional parallels distributed at select card shows. Collectors who opened a Hobby box of ''2001 Donruss Baseball'' at Donruss-Playoff's corporate booth received an exclusive base card stamped specifically for the event.

	Chicago ~~Collection cards~~ for the entire base set ~~as well as~~ the 1999 Retro and 2000 Retro ~~inserts were made -- however~~, ~~each set's~~ Rated Rookie subsets were ~~NOT included~~.		This promotion was featured at several major shows, including:

			* The 2001 All-Star FanFest in Seattle
			* The 2001 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland
			* The 2002 Chicago Sun-Times Card Show in Rosemont, Illinois

			Promotional versions were produced for the entire base set, along with the 1999 Retro and 2000 Retro insert sets. Notably, the Rated Rookie and Fan Club subsets from each of these sets were excluded from the promotion.
