			2000 Upper Deck Pros & Prospects is a 192-card set released in two series. The first 132 cards were released as part of the Pros & Prospects set in October, 2000 and consists of: 90 Veterans (1-90), 30 Prospective Superstars (91-120) each serial-numbered to 1350 copies, and 12 Pro Fame cards (121-132) each serial-numbered to 1000.

			In late December, 2000, Upper Deck released their Rookie Update brand which carried a selection of new cards to extend the 2000 SP Authentic, SPx and Pros & Prospects brands. The new Pros & Prospects cards featured an extension of the Prospective Superstars subset (cards 133-162) with each card serial-numbered to 1600 copies and a selection of veterans (cards 163-192) composed of player's either initially not included in the basic set or traded to new teams.
