To preview the product prior to its public release, Fleer printed additional quantities of cards 26, 78, 155, 235, 285, 351, 509 and 514 and mailed them to dealers and hobby media. However, since none of the cards were marked as promos, there is no way of distinguishing them from the pack-inserted base cards. 	As with previous Fleer products, each pack had one insert card ~~and with randomly seeded~~ "Hot Packs" ~~were also distributed~~, ~~containing~~ nothing but inserts.		As with previous Fleer products, each pack had one insert card to cater to collectors that were enjoying the "Insert Mania" wave that was sweeping through the Hobby at the time. To further indulge collectors, Fleer also distributed "Hot Packs", which contained nothing but inserts.
