	1982 Topps K-Mart is a 44-card boxed set produced to celebrate the mass-market retail chain's 20th Anniversary Celebration. The set features reprints of Topps cards of the National and American League MVP's from 1962 through 1981. The backs highlight individual MVP winning performances. 			Topps' had previously licensed out cards before to the likes of Burger King, Coca-Cola and Drakes but this was the first time the cards were not attached to a promotional purchase. The cards themselves was the featured item.
