=Description=

2007 Topps Allen & Ginter World Champions is a 350-card set released in August, 2007.  50 cards in the base set were short-printed and seeded into packs at the rate of 1:2.  Each pack contains a mini-sized card.

Each 24-pack Hobby box contains two autographs/game-used cards and an over-sized box topper.

These cards were given away to attendees of the 2007 Hawaii Trade Conference -- which was actually held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida that year.  Four of the cards feature subjects in the upcoming 2007 Allen & Ginter's set, the other three are of Topps employees.  Each card is mini-sized and features the 2007 Hawaii Trade Show logo on the reverse side.  In addition, the four non-Topps employee cards are all hand-numbered to 25 copies.

These seven cards, all done in the style of the 2007 Allen & Ginter base set, were given away to attendees of the 2007 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland.  As it were, the checklist features players with Cleveland or Ohio State ties.  Each card was available in both standard and mini sizes.  

Collectors who opened three packs of any 2007 Topps or Bowman product (in any sport) at Topps's corporate booth would receive one card.  Collectors could specify if they wanted a standard-sized or mini-sized card, but NOT the specific player.

Each full-sized Dick Perez Sketch card features a reproduction of the original, and were seeded at the rate of one-per-pack.  The cards were printed on thicker-than-normal cardstock and serve as a anti-pack searching decoy.  Each is erroneously labelled as a one-of-one.

The actual sketches drawn by Perez were randomly embedded inside the Rip Cards.

The 57 autographs are subdivided into seven groups: A-G, with Group A the scarcest and Group G the most common. All exchange cards expired July 31, 2009.
