Description

In the Spring of 2005, Colgate-Palmolive ran a promotion where lucky consumers who entered a code printed on each container of Speed Stick deodorant onto a website, could win one of 100 Alex Rodriguez autograph cards.

Each card was produced by Topps and uses the 2004 Bowman Chrome design (although the card is branded Topps and not Bowman) and has the Speed Stick logo on both sides. The back of each card is serial-numbered to 100 copies and features a Topps holographic security sticker.

Since Colgate-Palmolive was not an MLB licensee, Rodriguez is depicted in a plain black logo-free uniform.
