Parallels

Essential Credentials

Each of the 120 base cards has two Essential Credential parallels: Now and Future. The production of each Essential Credentials Now matches that of the card's sequential number, while the Essential Credentials Future is the card's sequential-number subtracted from 121.

For example: Jim Thome is card #35 in the base set. His Essential Credentials Now card is serial-numbered to 35 copies, but his Future is numbered to 86. Pat Burrell has 104 Now's, but only 17 Future's.
